Discount Panasonic DMC-LX3K 10.1MP Digital Camera With 2.5x Wide Angle
MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Black) This Camera is for people who like to post process images to
pefection. As a point and shoot it's worthless as most outdoor images are
Underexposed. Great if you want a perfectly exposed highlights only! Do not
be fooled by the overly bright LCD display. Take Photos in store at your nearest

incandesent light is still a minor drama with the new 1.2 firmware. Otherwise
great low light performance compared to it's compeditors hence the 3 stars. Buy Panasonic Lumix DMC LX3K Lowest Price, Order Now! [Click Here!]Relate

Discount Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS1 10MP Digital Camera With 12x Wide Angle
MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom And 2.7 Inch LCD (Black) There had been a prior review where it is reported that the
internal battery usually lasted one day before needing recharging. Since I
vacation as a bicyclist with trailer and utilize campsites, I would have to buy
a large quantity of spare batteries. The last Panasonic I owned was a really
good camera but the moisture and rain in Oregon did something to the innards and
there usally is a brown splotchy area right in the middle of the picture. I am
on the hunt for a camera that uses AA size batteries; has the best megapixel and

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 12.1MP Micro Four-Thirds Interchangeable Lens Digital Camera With 14-45mm Lens
Camera arrived last week and as I was playing around with it, I was on the fence about whether it was worth the money (2x a superzoom, more than some dslrs), and picture quality was ok but not stunning. Indoor shots needed tweaking, and not so fast as I was expecting. Without the viewfinder, which hasn't been released yet, I was leaning toward returning it for a dslr. On to this week and the real life testing - fabulous performance. I used the scene mode, the intelligent auto and the custom program where you can choose the settings like a fully manual camera at each event so I could get more of a feel for the camera. School field trip - great pictures. Volleyball tournament - great pictures. Tried out the video at the playground, great picture quality, great sound quality and you can zoom without any external sound. The autofocus kept the picture in focus when zooming in video perfectly. The autofocus tracking and face recognition worked wonders when trying to get candids of little girls running around on a school field trip. The auto bracketing feature worked great when dealing with a gusty, cloudy day with changing light conditions. The one stop switch to black and white from color allowed for some interesting shots with an easy on/off adjustment. The high speed burst mode caught all the shots I could want or need. The size was great, easy to carry in hand, not too heavy on my neck when I had to use my hands for other things. Is it perfect? No, the manual focus is really hard to handle, especially indoors (very grainy, hard to get a clear picture) but this may be different when the viewfinder arrives. After the burst mode, there is a recovery which could cause a problem in a fast moving situation but I did not find it a problem with my situation. I don't find the intelligent auto very good at indoor shots unless you are using the flash, but that may be a learning curve issue. Overall, it is a very expensive camera, but it appears to work as well as many of the dslrs on the market (with the exception of the shooting speed). It works well at the easy point and shoot mode and also works well with fully manual settings. It fits really well in a purse with the 14-45 lense and I can't wait for the pancake to arrive. *************Update 10/13/09******** Camera is still working great and is more rugged than I had hoped. It still works after a approx. 3 foot fall from shelf to carpeted floor. Buy Panasonic Lumix DMC GF1 Lowest Price, Order Now! Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS1 12MP Digital Camera With 4.6x Wide Angle MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom And 2.7 Inch LCD (Silver)
Very simply put. I used this camera 5 times in total, twice in the pool (no problem), once in the desert (no problem), and once in the sea, which killed it. The day after the sea experience, it would simply not turn on. What gets me is that I did everything I was supposed to do with it, as stated by the manual (ie not jump in water with it, not keep in water too long, rinse it afterwards, etc...), it is and remains dead. Very disappointed with Panasonic on this one, I loved the camera while it worked, now I keep staring at my expensive brick. IF you want to buy a camera that can die on you for no apparent reason, go ahead and get a TS1. I wont make the same mistake again. Buy Panasonic Lumix DMC TS1 Lowest Price, Order Now! Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 10.1 MP Digital Camera With 12x Wide Angle MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom And 3 Inch LCD (Black) Right Now
I find myself taking this camera with me everywhere to snap pictures of whatever interests me, spur of the moment. I mostly take pictures of my pets and things that interest me in my neighborhood. I usually see things and want to shoot them immediately, without waiting to fiddle with the camera. This camera powers on fast, and for most situations leaving it set to automatic everything produces a clear shot with true colors. This is just what I need to catch my pets "in the act". The pictures are so sharp I can see every little hair in their fur. The flash is bright enough that I can get a sharp picture 10 feet away in dim light. The zoom is impressive - it's very fast and produces really sharp pictures. I tried one HD video, and played it on my computer. It was very sharp on my 24" LCD screen. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 12.1MP Digital Camera With 18x POWER Optical Image Stabilized Zoom And 2.7 Inch LCD
I had own DMC-FZ28 lumix camera, because of its quality it leads me to buy DMC-FZ35. Although I satisfied more with DMC-FZ35 feature sets still it's performance downgraded in terms of video quality and image stabilization side. The image stabilization performs better in FZ28 for long moving shots. The video quality is definitively downgraded for indoor pictures even though fz28 performs average in those areas. Certainly I love the features that fz35 provides. 1) Dedicated video record button. 2) H.264 video recording format to save more memory space during HD video recording (although lot of players are not compatible with AVCHD lite format which DMC-fz35 provides). 3) function button to switch between record and playback functions quickly. 4) Intelligent Auto functions are little bit better in fz35 but still some modes the digital zoom are not enabled (which is quite a disappointment) 5) The battery life at AVCHD format recording definitively outstanding. If you are definitely looking for great indoor still pictures with megazoom functionality probably recommend to look for other suitable cameras. Buy Panasonic DMC FZ35 Lowest Price, Order Now! Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS1 12MP Digital Camera With 4.6x Wide Angle MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom And 2.7 Inch LCD (Silver)
I wanted a waterproof camera that I could take with me in my sea kayak and have readily accessible. I've been using a Nikon Coolpix 4300, but was missing too many pictures opportunities because of the time it takes to remove it from the water-tight bag I carried it in. I also couldn't use it when there was a lot of spray in the air. The Panasonic DMC-TS1 has solved those problems. With its non-protruding lens it is even smaller than my old Coolpix and slips easily into a pocket on my PFD. I can pull it quickly from the pocket on a moment's notice to capture a picture and can do so at any time in any conditions (as long as I'm able to take at least one hand from my paddle). I haven't tried putting it in the water, put it has done quite well in fresh and sea water spray. Picture quality is better than I expected. I'm still getting familiar with all the settings and features, but I'm just blown away by the technology in this little package. It pays to understand the various settings so that the camera can be used to its best advantages. I suspect some of the disappointments and complaints I read about in the reviews come from not understanding the operation of the camera well enough. I've tried the video a couple times and have also been impressed with this feature. This is the first video-capable camera I've ever had and I'm looking forward to doing a lot more with it. Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1 12.1MP Digital Camera With 8x POWER Optical Image Stabilized Zoom And 2.7 Inch LCD (Black)
After reading the reviews of both Panasonic ZS3 and Panasonic ZR1 and I decided to check out the ZR1 as it was supposed to have the newer/better image stabilization and smaller in size. The size was definitely small enough and image stabilization was decent. The picture quality was quite good in bright light conditions but lower in low-light conditions, but this seems to be an issue with any of the digital cameras at this price point. But where it really disappointed was in the video mode. I noticed that when I switch the mode dial to the video mode the brightness of what was displayed on the camera's LCD screen became much lower compared to the photo mode. First I thought that this may be just an issue I'm seeing on LCD screen but when I transferred the video and watched it on my laptop and my TV I saw that the videos in fact looked dulled out compared to the photos. So pretty much any video that is shot indoors looked dull and kinda of poor quality. I then decided to try out the ZS3 also and immediately saw that this issue isn't there in the ZS3. To capture video on the ZS3 you don't have to change the mode dial but simply have to press a "record" button and I don't know if this has anything to do with this, but the videos were as bright as the photos on the ZS3. So the videos shot indoors are much better, both brighter and better quality, with the ZS3 compared to the ZR1. I also did comparisons of photos taken by the two models and surprisingly I felt the ZS3 was better there too (despite the fact that ZR1 boasts 2MP more). Also, I didn't find the image stabilization of ZS3 in anyway inferior to that of ZR1. So after all my side-by-side comparisons I found the ZS3 to be definitely a better camera which I have kept and returned the ZR1. The ZR1 is definitely more compact than the ZS3 and does have quicker start up times (and possibly even faster zoom times). But, at the end of the day, in my opinion the ZS3 is a superior camera when it comes to videos and even photos, with the additional zoom capabilities (12X of ZS3 vs 8X in ZR1). Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 12.1MP Micro Four-Thirds Interchangeable Lens Digital Camera With 14-45mm Lens
I am an active dad that was fed up with spending $300-$500 on point and shoot cameras and getting blurry or dark photos. Panasonic finally produced a camera that is compact, easy to use, has 720p HD video, and takes great photos in low light. I used my GF1 with the 14-45 lens this weekend to shoot photos and videos of a rock climbing competition. There were a lot of tough areas to shoot because of the high contrast between the dark overhangs and bright sun light. The GF1 performed extremely well. I had some problems focusing when going from extremely bright areas to extremely dark areas but that was due more to my lack of experience with this type of camera as opposed to poor focusing speed in the camera.
